Earth Day Festival

10th Annual Art Walk and Wine Walk - Looking for Hometown Service, Uptown Shoppes and Old Towne history? In Mechanicsburg you'll find all three. Saturday May 21, 2011 from 1-5 pm, Mechanicsburg is staging its 10th annual Art and Wine Walk. Visitors will stroll leisurely through the many excellent Specialty Shops and Art Galleries to enjoy wine tasting and to meet artists caught in the act of creating. Glasses with beaded stems for wine tasting may be purchased starting Tuesday May 3rd at Civil War and More 10 S. Market Street and The Rosemary House 120 S. Market. The cost of a glass is $10 before May 21; $12 the day of the rain-or-shine event. When you purchase your decorated wine glass, remember to sign up for the free Art and Wine Walk Gift Drawing. You could win one of several elegant prize baskets filled with wine carriers, wine accessories, St. Pierre bread slicing board and many other goodies. All gift baskets are on display in the windows at 36 E. Main Street. The drawing will be held at the close of the Art and Wine Walk May 21. Feeling lucky?

Concerts on the Corner at Main and Market Streets – Outdoor, family friendly event featuring various types of live music. Inclement weather location is Warm Hearts Cafe.

Jubilee Day™, the largest one-day street festival on the East Coast – Hundreds of businesses, food vendors and community organizations set up booths along Main and Market Street for this event which runs from 10 AM to 9 PM.

3rd Annual Architectural Stroll and Wine Tasting
Date: September 16, 2011 - 5:00 - 9:00pm
What better way to spend an evening than sipping wine and strolling historic, charming streets?
Mechanicsburg is hosting its annual Architectural Stroll and Wine Tasting, sponsored by the Foot Traffic Committee of Main Street Mechanicsburg. Specialty shops and art galleries offering everything from the practical to the quirky to the glamorous will welcome strollers for casual wine tasting, and all will be invited to sign up for the traditional gift basket drawings. Halloween Parade – More than 1,000 people participate in the parade viewed by residents of Mechanicsburg and surrounding communities.
